The invention relates to a lens shutter with built-in exposure meter, which is provided with two brightness controls, one of which is connected to the control device for the exposure time and the other is independently connected to the setting of the iris diaphragm 3 and consists in that the two brightness controls as to the Lens connector rotatable adjusting disks are formed whose light inlet openings are within the scope of the shutter housing. One of the adjusting discs is provided with an insert of different light transmittance. It is already known to design a brightness regulator as a sector which can be rotated around the lens connector and has fields of different light transmittance used. However, the light inlet opening was formed by the lens of a closure over the .o housing? Lying viewfinder, so that the whole arrangement claimed much space.
The device according to the invention has the advantage over the known device that the brightness regulators do not protrude beyond the lock housing, but rather follow the shape of the lock completely and can be made large enough to allow a sufficiently fine gradation. In addition, the use of different light transmittance over a slit of variable width has the advantage that the interior of the exposure meter is protected against the ingress of dust. Fig. Ι shows a cross section, Fig. 2 shows a front view of an embodiment. The shutter housing 1 carries the exposure meter at the top, consisting of a front light incidence opening i a , a mirror i b and an observation opening ι c , over which the actual measuring device is attached. In a manner known per se, the same can consist of a ground glass with an adjoining tube and an observation lens or of a photocell with a pointer device. In front of the light incidence opening i a , two ring disks 3 and S, which can be rotated around the lens connector, are arranged as brightness regulators. The disk 3, which by means of a fork 3 B detects the arm 6 connected to the adjusting disk of the iris diaphragm and thereby actuates the iris diaphragm, is provided with an insert 4 made of glass or the like, the light permeability of which increases from one end to the other. The disc 5, which acts in an arbitrary, but not shown manner to the adjustment of the exposure time, is equipped with a series of circular openings 5 of a different diameter or a slit of variable width. In place, the brightness controller held by the stuck on the lens piece cover plate 2, which also such a 2 "has front of the light incident port i a. By rotating the two Hei-ligkeitsregler can now, with simultaneous adjustment of the iris diaphragm bodies of the insert 4 of different light transmittance and while adjusting the exposure time at the same time, openings 5 ″ of different diameters are brought between the fixed light incidence openings i a and 2 a . Scales on which the exposure time and the aperture position can be read are attached at suitable points on the cover plate 2.
