Process for the production of adhesive eye glasses It is known, adhesive eye glasses
by means of a blow molding process by cutting the closed end of a
Glass tube inflates spherically and in a corresponding to the final shape
Hohlfarm blows into it, whereupon one of the so blown body forms the adhesive glass
Separates the shell. The adhesive glasses produced in this way only need to be attached to the separated ones
Edges are edited while the rest of the surface, in particular
the corneal part, is finally completed in the blowing process. The through bubbles
The surfaces produced by these adhesive glasses are intended to be the eyes of the wearer of the glasses
irritate less than surfaces created by grinding and polishing. Disadvantageous
it is however that with this method it cannot succeed the inner surfaces
to produce the adhesive glasses with respect to their surface curvature, -as it is in particular
is necessary when the corneal part has a certain additional corrective effect
should be given.
The subject of the invention is a process for the production of
Adhesive glasses, in which the eye of the user is also only blown
Adhesive glass surfaces iii contact, which, however, has the disadvantage of the known adhesive glasses
do not exhibit. The procedure is based on the knowledge that it is sufficient
the inner surface of the adhesive glasses produced by bubbles, which only touches the eye,
unprocessed, d. H. to leave in their original state when the inner surface
is blown to size, while the outer surface is through subsequent processing
can give the predetermined curvature to achieve the corrective effect.
The method consists in that, according to the invention, the outer surface of a spherical
inflated hollow glass body based on one used in the production of other glass objects
common practice by blowing against a raised shape to create the final shape
given to the inner surface of the adhesive glass to be produced and after separating the
shaped shell whose outer surface is processed by grinding and polishing in such a way that
that the adhesive glass receives the desired refractive effect. This can lead to bubbles
a pipe of the appropriate size or a glass pipe -be used, its
Wand itself supplies the material for blowing the adhesive glass.
The shape that helps create the true-to-size inner surface of the adhesive glass
.generated, consists of a body that protrudes from its surface
Has part, the surface of which has the shape of the entire inner surface of the to be produced
Has adhesive glass.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing.
Fig. I shows the shape with the blown glass body in the middle section, while
Fig. A the semi-finished product of the process before it is processed by grinding
and polishing shows in the middle section.
Schale f herausgeschnitten, wie Abb. a zeigt.
The blow mold consists of a plate, a with a protruding part b, the surface of which is processed in accordance with the inner surface of the adhesive glass to be produced and consequently has a corneal surface c and a scleral surface d. A glass tube e is used for blowing, the wall of which itself supplies the substance for producing the adhesive glass. After one end has been melted shut, the glass tube e is inflated in a spherical shape at the melted end and, with further blowing, is pressed against part b of the mold, so that its surface is in the hollow glass body. and this gives the shape of the inner surface of the adhesive glass to be produced. If, after termination of the blowing process the gob cooled, the formed shell is cut f, like Figure shows a.. The shell / is further ground and polished according to the dashed meridian curve, so that superfluous edge parts g are omitted and the corneal part h becomes a lens with the desired corrective effect.
