Das andere Ende der Muffe kann ebenfalls eine Wulst oder Verdickung besitzen und das Rohrende derartig fest umklammern, daß es sich beim Zurückrollen des erstgenannten Muffenendes nicht verschiebt. Diese Klammerwirkung des festen Muffenendes kann erhöht werden durch an der Innenseite der Muffe vorgesehene Ausnehmungen, z.
