Verfahren zurr Trennen von Küpenfarbstoffen In den Patentschriften
536911, 538314
Process for the separation of vat dyes In the patents 536911, 538314 and 576 132 processes for the separation of vat dyes, as they are obtained according to the patent 43o 632 and their additives, are described, which consist in that the isomeric dye mixtures by treatment with inorganic or organic acids are converted into salts in the presence or absence of solvents or diluents and these are separated from one another due to their very different solubilities. Patent specification 56.7 Zro also shows that the separation can also be achieved without loss of dye by treating the isomeric dyes with alkalis in the presence or absence of suitable solvents or suspending agents.
neuen Derivate, welche möglicherweise Komplexverbindungen darstellen, voneinander
trennt.
Aluminiumchlorid u. dgl. in Frage.
Farbstoff identisch. In further processing of this subject of the invention it has now been found
that the vat dyes according to patent specification 43o 632 and additional patents,
if they are present as isomeric dye mixtures, very good and technically simple
can be separated from each other if they can be separated in the presence or absence of suitable solutions
or suspension agents treated with suitable metal chlorides and the formed
new derivatives, which may represent complex compounds, from each other
separates. After separation, they can be treated with water or
convert dilute mineral acids into the dyes. Come as a solvent
for example glacial acetic acid, nitrobenzene, etc. and as - suitable metal salts chlorzinc,
Aluminum chloride and the like. Examples e.g. 5 parts by weight of the dye,
as described in patent 43o63: 2 by condensation of z # 4 # 5 # 8-naphthalenetetracarboxylic acid
with o-phenylenediamine can be obtained with 7 parts by weight of aluminum chloride
stirred in 5o parts by weight of dry nitrobenzene for 2 to 3 hours at 5o to 6o °.
The brown-yellow double compounds of the isomeric dyes soon also form
Aluminum chloride, one of which separates out in crystalline form, the other in solution
goes. After cooling to xo °, it is filtered off with suction and washed with a little nitrobenzene.
The residue is then stirred up with alcohol, whereby the double compound
to the
is dismantled for the most part. One sucks off, -washes to complete the dismantling,
with dilute hydrochloric acid and then with water and dry. The dye obtained
dyes cotton from a dark green vat orange. It is the same as that described in the main patent
Identical dye.
beschriebenen identisch. The isomeric dye is obtained from the nitrobenzene filtrate by
the nitrobenzene is distilled off with steam, a little hydrochloric acid is added,
in order to completely split off the aluminum chloride, suction off, wash neutral and dry.
This dye, which dyes cotton with a bluish tinge, is identical to that in the main patent
described identical.
Anhydrid mit i -
Anlagerungsprodukte wird abkühlen gelassen und, wie im Beispiel 2 beschrieben, aufgearbeitet.2. io parts by weight of the dye 1-4-5-8-naphthoylene-4 '- 5'- 4 "- 5" -tetrachlorodiphenylimidazole, as can be obtained, for example, by condensation of 1-4-5-8-naphthalenetetracarboxylic acid or Anhydride with 1--2-diamino-4-5-dichlorobenzene are suspended in about 100 parts by volume of dry nitrobenzene and about 13 parts by weight of tin tetrachloride are added. After 2 to 3 hours of heating to 50 to 60 °, the mixture is allowed to cool and the sparingly soluble addition compound formed of the one isomeric dye is suctioned off with tin tetrachloride, washed with a little nitrobenzene and then with alcohol. When this addition product or the double compound is introduced into water or dilute mineral acids, it is hydrolyzed, whereby the dye of presumably the following constitution- arises. It is an orange-red colored powder, which dissolves in concentrated sulfuric acid with a yellow-red color and colors the vegetable fiber from the olive-green vat in a very clear orange with very good fastness properties. To obtain the isomeric dye the nitrobenzene filtrate is distilled with steam, the remaining aqueous solution is mixed with hydrochloric acid and briefly warmed to the water bath. The dyestuff deposited in the process is filtered off with suction, washed neutral and dried. It is a blue-red powder that stains the vegetable fiber in my burgundy shade. 3.2o parts by weight of the mixture of isomeric dyes, as it can be obtained by condensation of 1-4-5-8-naphthalenetetracarboxylic acid or anhydride with 2-3-diaminotoluene, are suspended in about 18o parts by volume of dry nitrobenzene, with about 25 Parts by weight of antimony trichloride are added and the mixture is heated to 70 to 80 ° for a few hours. After the pale brown adducts in question have formed, the mixture is allowed to cool and, as described in Example 2, worked up.
