The invention consists in a film reel key on photographic cameras, whose driver consists of pivotable, resiliently expandable parts that are automatically adjust different sized driver slots of film spools, so that the Use of wood or metal film reels with different sized recesses for the driver in the same camera possible is.

The driver parts (wings or the like) are advantageously inserted into a central longitudinal slot of the key shaft and mounted on a common pin extending through this. A helical spring mounted in or around the pin of the film reel key is expediently used for spreading it apart.

In the camera housing α , the film reel key b is rotatably mounted in a manner known per se. This protrudes with its pin b ¹ into the receiving chamber a ¹ for the film reel c or g. These parts d, d ¹ are offset from one another at their bearing point in such a way that, as shown in Fig. 3, they are interposed there.

Claims (5)

Patent claims: i. Film spool key on photographic cameras, characterized in that the driver for the film spool consists of pivotably mounted parts (d, d ¹ ) which are spread apart by spring force so that they fit into driver slots of different sizes. 2. Film reel key according to claim 1, characterized in that the driver parts (d, d ¹ ) are inserted into a central longitudinal slot (for ⁸ ) of the key shaft (b) and are mounted on a common pin (e) penetrating this slot. 3. Film reel key according to claim 2, characterized by a helical spring (J) which is used to spread apart the driver parts and which is placed in or around the shaft (b ¹ ) of the key. 4.
