Vergasung unangenehm bemerkbar gemacht.
Process for the production of heat and cold insulating bodies Addition to patent 597 320 According to the main patent 597 320 , watery boiling of paper on the one hand and a boiling of tar, pitch and the like in clay on the other hand are used for the production of heat and cold insulating bodies produced and intimately mixed. The mixture is molded, dried and fired. When the dry bricks were fired, the tar or pitch sometimes made itself unpleasantly noticeable through sudden gassing. The sudden development of large amounts of gas may cause the formation of larger internal voids or changes in shape or surface cracks. All these phenomena can of course be controlled by careful management of the firing process, but they require special equipment and longer firing times to prevent them.
For this reason, try to mix the boiled clay only with boiled clay
Mixing paper and omitting tar, pitch or bitumen altogether resulted in a mass
which already disintegrated when burning, or stones which in any case do not have sufficient strength
had more.
With the present invention, the production is more heat and cold insulating

700 kg/cbm abfinden. For the production of diatomite insulating bricks, up to now 40 to 600 kg of diatomaceous earth and clay have been mixed with up to 400 kg of semolina, mostly with cork. The insulating stone fired from it usually consists of 82 ° o kieselguhr and 18'10 clay. It has a density of 380 kg / ms. However, if it is to withstand greater stresses in terms of strength, then because of the higher clay content resulting from this strength, one has to put up with volume weights of up to 700 kg / cbm.
When carrying out the present invention, it is possible, for. B.
To work 100 to 150 kg of finely fibrous organic components into just 3o to 60 kg of clay.
The lightweight clay stone fired from it consists of 100 ° 1o of clay. The dispensability
the expensive diatomaceous earth results in the new lightweight clay stone becoming cheaper. It
it is astonishing that, despite the omission of diatomaceous earth, it has only one volume weight
of 33o kg / m3, and with the exclusive use of clay with a volume weight
of an average of 100 kg; m3, the cheap lightweight clay brick has the same volume weight
of around 38o kg / m3 like the most expensive kieselguhr insulating brick and at the same time a substantial one
has higher strength than this.
Man verwendete Korkgrieß.
Man
Attempts have already been made to use clay with granular components alone
Manufacture lightweight insulating blocks. -You will never come to a result, however
came; that makes a competition with the inherently expensive pebble stones possible
would have done. Cork semolina was used. Peat fibers, crushed bark, sugar beet seeds,
Sawdust and the like, i.e. materials with a granular or coarse and rough-fibred structure,
which after burnout leave behind large pores that are visible to the naked eye. Man
believed to accommodate the largest possible quantities of such burnout materials in the clay
and still being able to maintain strong cell walls that increase strength.
This assumption was wrong. On the contrary, the tone shows an aversion, with percentage
to tie large quantities of such materials to him well. In knowledge and in
the practical proof that the clay only comes from the burn-out substances mentioned according to the invention
absorbs very large amounts in relation to him as a percentage and connects closely with them,
so that with sufficient strength the highest fine pores and thus high heat and
The merit of the present invention is achieved.
Das neue Verfahren bringt also ganz außerordentliche wirtschaftliche
und technische Vorteile. So the new process brings very extraordinary economic benefits
and technical advantages.
