Abstract

The invention relates to a buttonless textile collar (2) for a garment, preferably for a shirt (1) or a blouse. Said collar consists of a top collar (3), a top collar bone (4) which has a turn-up piece (6) at both sides of the collar which is cut in one piece with the garment and which extends to the inner side of said garment. The collar further consists of a lower collar and a lower collar bone (7) and an interlining between the top and the lower collar bone. The aim of the invention is to improve the details of the collar and to make sure that when it is worn without a tie the collar does not turn outwards. To this end, at least one continuous seam (10) is provided between the top collar (3) and the top collar bone (4) in the turn-up area of the collar (2) which extends from the one front end (8) to the other front end (9) of the collar (2).
