Abstract

The aim of the invention is to provide a device for adjusting an effective area of flow in ventilation systems by means of lamellae which can be adjusted in relation to one another. The device should allow simple assembly, be highly functional and require few materials irrespective of where the device is to be fitted. Said lamellae are interconnected at their outer edges via engaging gears which serve to open and close the lamellae in a synchronous manner. Pivot bearings are provided in the corresponding edge areas of the ventilation channels and the lamellae consist of light alloy hollow sections. According to the invention, the lamella body (5), the gear (11) allocated to said body, a plastic bearing end cap (15) and a plastic bearing cover (17) arranged outside the ventilation channel (2) are in coaxial arrangement in relation to one another when in use. The above-mentioned elements can be connected to one another by two fastening screws (9) which penetrate the elements or engage in screw channels (8) of the lamella body (5) and which can be fixed in relation to one another.
