Abstract
The analysis device that controls opening of the coin route flaps generates a pre-magnetization signal for an electromagnet (20) prior to generation of the control signal for the flap (18) which is produced dependent on the presence or absence of a coin detected by a sensor (CP2). The pre-magnetization is broken off if a control signal for the electromagnet is not generated. Coin device has one or more coin routes with associated sensors and an analysis device for comparison of the signals from the test devices with reference values. On comparison of the signals a control signal is generated to open up a flap, using an electromagnet, to allow coins to pass on the appropriate route. A sensor for detecting the presence of coins is then used to return the flap.
