Process for continuously controlling the base adjustment and oscillating parameters of a continuous casting mold arranged in an elevating platform (10) comprises operating the platform using four corner, preferably double-acting hydraulic cylinders (2-5) in oscillations, and measuring the oscillating forces acting on the hydraulic cylinders during a casting pause or during the casting operation.
