Abstract

The inventive container (1) for receiving a plurality of laboratory tools has a receiving chamber which can be closed by a lid (14), which is enclosed by walls (7, 8, 10, 11) and which is accessible via an opening (1a). At least one of the walls (10) and the lid (14) are linked to each other by a closure (15) which can be single-handedly pressure-released but also pressure-engaged. Said closure (15) has a lever (16) with a catch element (20) which engages in a counter-catch element (19). When pressure is exerted on a delimited area (21), the closure (15) is released whereas when pressure is exerted in the same direction outside of said area, the closure is locked.
