Abstract

The plug connector consists of a metallic casing (15) with soldering terminals and a metallic connector part (4) in the form of a coaxial plug and/or a coaxial socket. The soldering terminals extend, in the form of soldering pins (19, 21), from the bottom face (17) of the casing (16). The soldering pins engage with associated electric connections provided in the form of contacted installation holes (4) on the circuit board, when the casing is mounted on the circuit board. The soldering pins are soldered to the circuit board (10) in a soldering bath. The casing comprises an annular collar (18) at its bottom face, in a concentric arrangement with a soldering pin for an inner coaxial conductor (22). The soldering pins (19) for outer coaxial conductors (5) and/or the earthing potential of the coaxial connector are distributed around the annular collar.
