Abstract

The displacement measuring system (6) has a friction wheel (7), rolling at the piston rod (3), and its rotation is determined by a measurement value transmitter (12). This rotation is further used for measuring the displacement or the position of the piston rod. The friction wheel is arranged in a chamber, which is sealed against the atmosphere by seals lying at the piston rod. The chamber at least partly is arranged at one end of a plug-in or a screw-in housing. The housing has a pressure unit, for pressing the friction wheel at the piston rod. The friction wheel is located at a friction wheel bearing (13), which is guided radially to the piston rod movable in the housing, and is acted on by a spring element (17).
