Bei den neuerdings mehr und mehr in Aufnahme kommenden gröfseren Tresoranlagen, deren einzelne Fächer verpachtet werden, besteht der Verschlufs der einzelnen Fächer bisher aus je zwei in einem gemeinsamen Kasten angeordneten, selbstständigen Schlofseinrichtungen, für deren jede ein besonderer Schlüssel erforderlich ist. Den Schlüssel für das eine Schlofs erhält der Pachter des betreffenden Faches, der Schlüssel für das zweite Schlofs bleibt in den Händen des Verpächters bezw. seines Angestellten. Hierbei nimmt der Schieber c die Falle k am Stift m mit. Die richtige Begrenzung der Verschiebung der Falle kann durch entsprechendes Bemessen der Länge der Schlitze g erreicht werden, Fig: 8. Ist nun geöffnet, so dreht der Beamte seinen Schlüssel b zurück und zieht ihn aus dem Schlofs heraus. Die Falle k schnellt wieder vor und nimmt hierbei den Schieber c mit, so dafs der Stift c¹ in den hinteren Ausschnitt der Schlitze g zu liegen kommt, Fig. 8. Der Ausschnitt c³ am Schieber hat am hinteren Ende einen Vorsprung c⁴, um zu verhindern, dafs beim Oeffnen des Schlosses der Schlüssel des Beamten den Ausschnitt c³ ganz verläfst, da alsdann die Falle sofort wieder von selbst vorschnellen und der Schlüssel b durch den von der Falle mit zurückgenommenen Schieber c mittelst des in letzterem wegen des Schlüsselstiftes η notwendigerweise angeordneten Schlitzes 0 gefangen werden würde. ;To open the lock, the tenant of the safe must first push back the slider c with his key d so that the head c ² exposes the front keyhole, Fig Pen m approach.
