Abstract

The exhaust feed pipe (1) extends mainly over the complete length of the housing. Passages (3) for the exhaust gas are located in only one pipe jacket section (4). The pipe is enclosed by a first chamber (11), one jacket section (12) of which also has exhaust passages (13), opposite to those in the pipe. The first chamber is surrounded by a second chamber (19). This is connected to the discharge pipe (23), and its outer jacket pipe (6) is eccentric to the first chamber. The discharge pipe extends at right-angles to the feed pipe. Its exhaust intakes (22) are diametrically opposite to the exhaust passages (15) of the second chamber.
