Abstract
The electrical switching stage (27) has a shaft (7) that is moved bidirectionally through an arc to provide on-off switching. Coupled to the switch shaft are a pair of actuator bars (5,6) that are pivot mounted onto a disc coupled to the shaft. Movement of the actuators is provided by a cam plate (3) driven by a motor (2) that has a follower pin (4). The cam plate can move through an arc and engages a profiled section formed on the plate that provides a definite stop position. Both plates have the same shape. The switch has a coupling to a separate shaft (39) that can be manually operated for emergency purposes.
