Abstract

When a wing (2) is mounted on a fixed frame (1) rotatably about a central horizontal axis by means of two pivoting-wing bearings (3) and (4) and the pivoting-wing bearings have a first axis of rotation (6) and a second axis of rotation (7) parallel to the latter, so that the wing can be successively rotated about the first axis of rotation and thereafter about the second axis of rotation through a total of approximately 180 DEG , then the first and the second rotational movement must be braked correspondingly. A simple braking device (13) for rotation about the second axis of rotation (7) is obtained in that a bearing journal (14) of the wing-bearing part (9) engages into an upwardly open bearing shell (15) of the bearing intermediate part (10) and a clamping body (16) engages over this journal. The clamping body (16) is supported at one end in a receptacle (19) of the bearing intermediate part (10) by means of a projection (21), and its other end is pulled by means of a screw (17) up against the upper end of the bearing intermediate part (10) in the region of the bearing shell (15), with the result that a concavely curved braking surface (22) of the clamping body (16) is pressed against the circumference of the bearing journal (14) in the desired way. <IMAGE>
