Es sind Handmaschinen zum Entrinden von Baumstämmen bekannt, die mit umlaufenden Fräsern arbeiten. Die Anwendung dieser Maschinen ist nur in beschränktem Umfange erfolgt. Besondere Vorteile gegenüber allen anderen -Entrindungsvorrichtungen bietet die Anordnung der Schälwerkzeuge an einer Kette.
