Gemäß der Erfindung sind die Durchbrechungen in Form von kreisbogenförmigen Schlitzen ausgebildet. Trotzdem ist bei gegebener Endkapazität die notwendige Vergrößerung des Kondensators gering. So steht die Plattenzahl des dargestellten Kondensators zur Plattenzahl eines gleichen Kondensators ohne Schlitze e im Verhältnis 8 : 6, während die dielektrischen Verluste in einem viel größeren Verhältnis verkleinert sind. Zur Führung des beweglichen Plattenpaketes ist ein besonderer Arm d vorgesehen, der am größten Durchmesser des Drehpaketes angreift und auf der Achse verstiftet ist. Die Platten des Drehpaketes sind hierbei durch eine Querverbindung verbunden.
