Trotzdem ist bei gegebener Endkapazität die notwendige Vergrößerung des Kondensators gering. So steht die Plattenzahl des dargestellten Kondensators zur Plattenzahl eines gleichen Kondensators ohne Schlitze e im Verhältnis 8 : 6, während die dielektrischen Verluste in einem viel größeren Verhältnis verkleinert sind. Zur Führung des beweglichen Plattenpaketes ist ein besonderer Arm d vorgesehen, der am größten Durchmesser des Drehpaketes angreift und auf der Achse verstiftet ist. Die Platten des Drehpaketes sind hierbei durch eine Querverbindung verbunden.
