Das Zahnradgetriebe ist daher zeitlichem Verschleiß unterworfen, der Ungleichmäßigkeiten im Antriebe, d. h. ein ruckweises Abrollen der Walzen zur Folge hat, die sich zu einem Vieleck abplatten, das die Herstellung des verzinnten Bleches mit vollkommen glatter Oberfläche unmöglich macht.
