Abstract

A new method and a device are proposed for the production, in each case in a mould, of shaped articles from a free-flowing moulding composition which is incapable of rising and is composed of fillers and a thermosetting binder, without the production of a preform. The device is provided with two horizontally movable compression-mould bottom parts, one of which is filled in each case, while with the other the moulding composition is pressed into the heated compression-mould top part and is cured there to form a moulding.
