Der in der Zeichnung dargestellte Apparat besteht im wesentlichen aus einem Hahn a, dessen Kegel b mit einer oder mehreren feinen Rinnen c versehen ist, welche bei entsprechender Kegelstellung von der Einströmung s bis zu der vorzugsweise diametral gegenüberstehenden Ausströmung g reichen.
