Abstract

The invention relates to a silo which, for simplifying transportation (loading and unloading), is equipped with a filling opening 9 which is arranged in a side wall portion 8 and can be closed by means of a flap 13. The bottom of the silo 1 extends obliquely outwards to an outlet 12 which is located outside the standing structure 2. Instead of the filling opening 9, a blowing line 18, 20 can be provided. The blowing line 18, 20 and the filling opening 9 can also be combined. The silo 1 is advantageously constructed to be resistant to excess and/or negative pressure. Furthermore, the silo 1 is equipped with suction line connections. By this means, the silo 1 can be used both as a separation container for suction equipment and as a storage container for blowing equipment. <IMAGE>
