hatten.Method for reducing couplings in telecommunication cables with air space cores
In the manufacture of telecommunication cables it is known to cause difficulties both
for the D, opp, eladern as well as: for the higher-order versieile elements evenly
to achieve high capacitance values and thus differential capacities that are as uniform as possible.
It has been found that especially after the cable has been twisted
especially the operating capacities change completely unevenly. These capacity changes
are not only due to the twisting and stranding, but undoubtedly
a ie the change in the diameter uc of the stranding elements during the ver
twisting or stranding. In order to reduce this evil as much as possible,
one was striving so far; insulation paper of the same thickness as possible
high dielectric constant and papler cords of the same strength as possible, each with
to use the same pitch as a spacing means to build up the veins.
It turned out, however, that despite these measures, after the versing, individual
Stranding elements have high capacitance values that differ completely from the other stranding elements
had.
- i bzw. n -(- i, j e nachdem die Kordeldrallrichtung gleich ,oder gegenläufig
n - i, die mit der gegenläufigen Kordeldrallrichtung a+ i Schlaglängen gegeneinander.
According to the invention, this disadvantage is avoided in that: the twist direction of the cords of adjacent cores in the core groups is not chosen to be the same as before, but in opposite directions. This is the; Viorteil achieves that the risk of one of the wires being indented on one side by an adjacent wire over a longer distance is avoided. Rather, all cores will push each other in over a distance of approximately the same length when pressure occurs to an approximately equal extent, so that although a certain increase in the capacitance values can occur, there is no unevenness in the capacitance values. It has been found that the change in the diameter of individual insulated wires and thus their capacitance values in the known cables is mainly caused by the fact that the paper cord of the adjacent wire extends at the points where the paper sleeve does not penetrate the cord of the vein is supported, presses in, and this press-in happens completely unevenly with the individual veins. The application of the cord to the adjacent veins according to the invention can be done with the opposite twist direction so that the same pitch lengths are used for all cords. However, you can also choose irregular cord lay lengths for adjacent veins. In both cases it is practically impossible for changes in the capacitance values to occur subsequently. The reason for this is as follows: On one lay length, two adjacent cores perform a relative rotation of 36o ° against each other when twisting backwards. If two adjacent cores have the same lay length, but opposite lay direction, and: if a twist length of the multiple cores has n cord lay lengths (absolute), the number of cord lay lengths lying opposite one another is n - i or n - (- i, depending on the cord twist direction the same or opposite to the twist direction of the multiple cores. If you now choose for two adjacent cores of a star quad of the same length, but oppositely directed cord twist, then over a four pitch length the core with the same twisted twist direction n - i, that with the opposite twisted cord twist direction a + i With a cord lay length of 7 mm in the straight vein, with a multiple twist of for example i 50 mm, the relative difference in the cord lay length is about 9%. the amount of cord as a result Having to change choice of different cord lay lengths. In those cases in which one also uses different but constant cord inclinations in the neighboring cores with opposite cords, one can easily compensate for the changes in the capacitance values caused by this by adjusting the diameter of the cores with a narrower Cord twist holds somewhat larger than that of the veins with a wider cord pitch, for example by the fact that the veins with a narrower cord pitch are passed through a slightly wider nipple than the veins with a larger cord pitch.
Daher muß in jedem
In star fours, the arrangement according to the invention is made so
that two cores with the same cord twist direction one pair and two cores with
opposite cord twist direction form the other pair of the foursome. In the DM foursome
if adjacent cores are the cores: of a pair to be addressed. Therefore must be in everyone
of the two pairs in each case the: one wire z. B. a cord pitch in one direction
and the other wire has a cord pitch in the other direction.
