I. G. Farbenindustrie Akt.-Ges. in Frankfurt a. M.*) Verfahren zur Herstellung von SchädlingsbekämpfungsmittelnI. G. Farbenindustrie Akt.-Ges. in Frankfurt a. M. *) Process for the manufacture of pesticides

Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 19. Dezember 1931 abPatented in the German Empire on December 19, 1931

As is well known, the use of mineral oils in emulsified form plays a role in the Pest control, especially in fruit growing, has recently played an important role. They are used, in particular, to control scale insects during winter treatment. It is also already known, a Bordeaux petroleum soap emulsion to protect the citrus harvest to use against fungal diseases and bugs. Also the combination of Oil emulsions with sulphurous lime, sulphurous soda and sulphurous potash are already brewing described. In all of these cases, however, the additional broths must be prepared separately necessary. For example, the oil emulsion can only be added to the freshly prepared copper lime broth will.

It has now been found that, with the use of suitable emulsifiers, it is possible to produce oil emulsions which contain substances with a strong fungicidal and insecticidal action at the same time. In this way, it is possible to intensify the one-sided effect of the oil emulsions on sucking insects or to extend it to eating pests, and at the same time to produce highly effective insecticidal and fungicidal oil emulsions. For example, can be used as a stock emulsion agent containing in addition 70 0/0 · oil 10 o / o copper acetate as a fungicide and 10 o / o cryolite as insecticidally. Mono- Such means may in 3- to 50 / cent concentration for winter treatment and in 1 to 2 <y o sodium concentration! can be used for spring and summer treatment in fruit growing. The ready-to-spray broth is produced in the simplest way by pouring the star emulsion into the required amount of water with thorough stirring. Suitable emulsifiers for the production of such combined acting oil emulsions are organic compounds containing oxy, carboxy or amido groups in which polyglycol ether radicals with four or more H 4 groups are introduced and in which free hydroxyl groups are still present, which may be with reactive compounds are implemented, in question, e.g. B. oxethylated aniline, oxethylated naphthylamine, oxethylated dodecylamine, oxethylated Aiko = · hole, such as. B. Oxäthylsorbit, Oxäthyloleylalkohol, Oxäthylstearylalkohol, oxethylated dodecyl alcohol, also oxethylated castor oleic acid, oxethylated palm kernel fatty acid, oxethylated coconut fatty acid.

Das Mittel wird in gleicherweise angewandt, wie in Beispiel 1 beschrieben.5 parts of ricinoleic acid, into which several oxethyl radicals have been introduced by the action of ethylene oxide, ι ο parts of copper acetate, 80 parts of white oil and 5 parts of water are intimately mixed. A sticky soap-like paste is obtained as a stock emulsion, which can be further mixed with water in any ratio. The agent is applied to the IG treatment Winter 3- to 5 o / o ig, for the spring and summer treatment 1 to 2 <y o. It is suitable for the destruction of frost-tension eggs, sucking insects and for combating Fusikladium, for example. 2. An oil spray with good fungieider and insekticider effect against eating pests' is obtained by emulsifying 70 0/0 light oil, 10 0/0 Kupferoxydchlorid, 10 0/0 cryolite, 5 <y 0 water with the aid of 5 0/0 Oxethyloley alcohol. The agent is applied in the same way as described in Example 1.
