anderer Kettenware Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf Strümpfe, Socken o. dgl. aus Milanese-
oder anderer Kettenware, die entsprechend der Beinform zugeschnitten sind. Aus Stoff
formgerecht zugeschnittene Strümpfe u. dgl. sind bereits mehrfach bekannt. Hierbei
handelt es sich einmal um regelrechte Schneidstrümpfe, bei denen der Längen, der
Fuß, die Ferse und Spitze aus demselben Stoff angeschnitten ist. Bekannt ist es
auch, auf solche Strümpfe im Verlauf der Ferse, Sohle und Spitze Verstärkungen aufzunähen.
Um solche Strümpfe " handelt es sich jedoch bei der vorliegenden Erfindung nicht,
sondern um Strümpfe, bei denen der Längen und das Fußblatt aus maschensicherem Milanese-
oder anderem Kettenstuhlgewirk, das sich durch besondere Elastizität auszeichnet,
besteht, während Fuß, Ferse und Spitze aus regulär gearbeitetem Gewirk bestehen,
das auf Flächwirk-, Rundstrick- o. dgl. Maschinen hergestellt ist und mit dem Längen
und dem Fußblatt vereinigt wird. Derartige Ware an geschnittene Strümpfe anzuarbeiten,
ist aber ebenfalls bereits bekannt. Strümpfe dieser Art besitzen aber den Nachteil,
daß durch die Verbindung vors Ferse und Längen eine Quernaht entstand, die sich
beim Tragen der Strümpfe sehr unliebsam- bemerkbar machte, indem diese Naht zwischen
Schuh und Fuß eine sehr starke Reibung verursachte, so daß die Strümpfe an dieser
Stelle sehr schnellemi Verschleiß unterlagen, zumal die Strümpfe gerade in der Fersengegend
größtem Zug ausgesetzt sind. Hinzu kommt noch, daß Milanese- o. dgl. Kettenstuhlgewirke
eine sehr enge Maschenbildung besitzen, so daß es vor allem beim Anstoßen der Ferse
an den Längen sehr oft vorkam, daß die Nadeln in das Gewirk stießen und dieses zerstörten.
Außerdem übt jede Naht, besonders in der Fersengegend, unliebsamen Druck und Reibung
auf den Fuß des Trägers aus. Oft kam es auch vor, daß die Fersennaht und ein Teil
der Ferse selbst aus dem Schuh herausrutschte, was- die Zerreibung des Strumpfes
