Description

Process for the production of cellulose ester lacquers It has been found that r, r, 3-trimethylcYclohexen- (3) -one- (5) are excellently suited for the production of cellulose ester lacquers. The compound is characterized by its ability to evaporate quickly despite the high boiling point, and also the good blending ability with nitrocellulose non-solvents advantageous in the production of nitrocellulose lacquers. Ztt Mention should also be made of the mild odor and the relatively high persistence against alkalis and acids. Since r, z, 3-trimethylcyclohexen- (3) -one- (5) - with almost is miscible with all common solvents, it can therefore also be mixed are used with other solvents for the production of cellulose ester coatings, «- above that the usual additions can also be present.

I. 9 Teile Kollodiumwolle hochviskos, 16 - r, r, 3-Trimethylcyclohexen-(3)-on-(5), 75 - Sprit. The i, i, 3-trimethylcyclohexen- (3) -one- (5) was used as a solvent known acetone oil in amounts below z ° / o along with a large number of other compounds -found; on the basis of this finding, however, the valuable Anticipate the solution properties of the connection. The following are some paint regulations listed, in which z, z, 3-trimethylcyclohexen- (3) -one- (5) as a solvent use finds. I. 9 parts highly viscous collodion wool, 16 - r, r, 3-trimethylcyclohexen- (3) -one- (5), 75 - fuel

IL. ro Teile Kollodiumwolle niedrigviskos, 22 - Dammarlösung, 3 - Weichmachungsmittel, 15 - i, r, 3-Triimethylcycloliexen-(3)-on-(5), So - Benzol. .IL. ro parts low-viscosity collodion wool, 22 - Dammar solution, 3 - Softeners, 15 - i, r, 3-Triimethylcycloliexen- (3) -one- (5), So - benzene. .

III. 8 Teile Acetylcellulose, 20 - r, z, 3-Trimethylcyclohexen-(3)--On-(5), 40 - Aceton, 32 - Methylalkohol.III. 8 parts acetyl cellulose, 20 - r, z, 3-trimethylcyclohexen- (3) - On- (5), 40 - acetone, 32 - methyl alcohol.
