An .dem durch das Patent No. 52097 geschützten Baugerüsthalter ist das Band aus
Stahlblech oder Eisendraht durch eine mit dem einen Ende an der Platte P befestigte Kette K
ersetzt. Die Platte P, welche auf der Innenseite mit Stahlspitzen 5 besetzt ist, wird an
den aufrecht stehenden Gerüstbaum gedrückt und vermittelst der Stahlspitzen vorläufig festgehalten.
Hierauf wird die Kette K zuerst von oben nach unten um den waagrecht liegenden
Gerüstbaum, dann unterhalb der Platte P um den aufrecht stehenden, hierauf von unten nach
oben wieder um den waagrecht liegenden Baum und endlich nochmals um den aufrecht
stehenden Baum geschlungen. Mit dem gezahnten Hebel H wird die Kette in irgend
einem Glied gefafst und fest an den Gerüstbaum gedrückt. Der Stift St wird alsdann

anderes Ende mittelst des in ein Kettenglied eingreifenden, auf der Platte (P) gelagerten gezahnten
Hebels (H) fest angezogen und durch den Stift (St) festgehalten wird.
