Description

Separation of trialkali phosphate from this and alkaline hydrolytically split salts, e.g. B. sodium aluminate, containing solutions in the patent 5r6 46o is a process for the production of tri-trium phosphate and alumina hydrate described from these containing alkaline reacting solutions. The separation happens in such a way that the trisodium phosphate up to a P205 content of 0.6% of the solution is crystallized out. To get from the remaining about o, 6 ° ("P205 content containing sodium aluminate liquor a practically aluminum phosphate-free by known procedure In order to be able to obtain alumina hydrate, it is necessary to use lime or another, insoluble one Phosphate-forming hydroxide or carbonate to remove the above-mentioned 0.6%, P205.

It has now been shown that a trisodium phosphate and Solution containing sodium aluminate practically completely removes the trisodium phosphate Can bring to crystallization when one on low temperature, for example o °, cools down.

According to the invention, a further development of the process is carried out the patent 5 16 46o in such a way that from the digestion liquor, which without repeated use of mother liquors containing sodium aluminate, i.e. without it Enrichment of the alumina hydrate can be obtained, the trisodium phosphate (trialkali phosphate) on the one hand by the presence of a hydrolytically cleaved salt, e.g. B. sodium aluminate or sodium stannate, and on the other hand crystallized out so far by cooling to 0 ° is that there are only insignificant traces of P205 in the remaining smell, the hydrolytic Mother liquor containing salt are located and, as a result, without intermediate treatment with lime to remove the P205 immediately in a known manner, e.g. B. by Introducing carbon dioxide, the oxide hydrate (alumina hydrate) in almost completely can be deposited in pure form.

The operation of the present invention is therefore that from trisodium phosphate and an alkaline, hydrolytically split one Salt, e.g. B. sodium aluminate, sodium stannate, containing solutions, as according to the patent 5r6 46o for the purpose of practically complete separation the trisodium phosphate crystallized out to traces by cooling to about 0 ° becomes, whereupon the remaining only the alkaline reacting, hydrolytic split salt, e.g. B. Nairium aluminate containing solution, without further intermediate operations in a manner known per se, e.g. B. by introducing Carbon dioxide into the corresponding anion, e.g. B. aluminum hydroxide, by precipitation and in the desired pure form in a remaining solution of sodium carbonate can separate.

Embodiment A solution of trisodium phosphate and sodium aluminate, which in the usual way by digestion of alumina phosphate in sodium hydroxide solution (or pyrogenic), contained at ordinary temperature after incomplete Fractionation still i part trisodium phosphate to i part aluminum oxide and 1.8 parts Caustic soda in 17 parts of water.

Das gewonnene Tonerdehydrat enthält in lufttrockenem Zustand weniger als i °/o P, 0s.100 parts by weight of this solution of the spec. Weight i, ia are cooled down to a temperature a little below 0 °; this separates still in solution Remaining residue of trisodium phosphate is completely absent. In the phosphate-free Solution is passed in carbonic acid in the usual way with precipitation of the alumina hydrate and forming a solution of sodium carbonate. The alumina hydrate obtained when dry in air contains less than i% P.0s.
