Description
Verfahren zum Trocknen von Düngesalzen oder Chlorkalium der Kaliindustrie Beim Trocknen von Kalisalzen in mit Feuergasen beheizten Trommeln hat es sich als notwendig erwiesen, das Trockengut und die Heizgase in gleicher Richtung durch den Trockner hindurchzuführen. Durch diese Maßnahme wird verhindert, daß ein Anbacken an der Trommelwandung stattfindet und Betriebsstörungen hervorgerufen werden. Es hat sich nun gezeigt, daß die Feuergase bereits weit vor ihrem Austritt aus der Trommel völlig an Feuchtigkeit gesättigt und somit nicht mehr in der Lage sind, das restliche anhaftende Wasser aufzunehmen. Dieses nicht vollkommen getrocknete Salz mit durch Kristallaggregate bedingter unregelmäßiger Oberfläche hat aber infolge seines Gehaltes an Chlormagnesium die unangenehme Eigenschaft, weitere Feuchtigkeit anzuziehen und alsdann seine gute Streufähigkeit, mehr oder weniger schnell zu verlieren. Die Erhaltung der Streufähigkeit bei der Lagerung, welche bei der Verwendung als Düngemittel für den Landwirt besonders wichtig ist, bleibt jedoch erhalten, wenn das bereits von Feuchtigkeit größtenteils befreite Salz vor seinem Austritt aus der Trommel einer so hohen Temperatur ausgesetzt wird,, daß die einzelnen Salzkristalle bzw.
