So spaltet z.
Process for the production of new preparations from 7-iodo-8-oxyquinoline-5-sulfonic acid
or their salts Aqueous solutions of the mixture of 7-iodo-B-oxyquinoline-5-sulfonic acid
with alkalis, alkali carbonates or bicarbonates or solutions of the alkali salts
7-iodo-8-oxychinoa-5-sulfonic acid cleave more, depending on the degree of heating
or less rapidly depletes free iodine. So z. B. an aqueous solution of 7-iodo-8-oxyquinoline-5-sulfonic acid
Sodium already releases free iodine before it starts to boil. This behavior is for
the use of 7-iodo-8-oxyquinoline-5-sulfonic acid is disadvantageous.
It has now been found that one can prevent the occurrence of free iodine during cooking
of solutions of 7-iodo-8-oxyquinoline-5-sulfonic acid salts can be delayed at will,
if one for the presence of the iodine-free 8-oxyquinoline-5-sulfonic acid or its
Salts in the solutions. This becomes apparent when it is otherwise heated
free iodine from 8-oxyquinoline-5-sulfonic acid with regression of 7-iodine-B-oxyquinoline-5-sulfonic acid
recorded. The method thus enables extensive stabilization without
that the deposited iodine is lost in the therapeutically effective portion.
Präparate in Wasser auflöst.

For the production of the new preparations one can use different ones
Proceed in the usual way, e.g. B. by 7-iodine-8-oxyquinoline-5-sulfonic acid or
their salts with 8-oxyquinoline-5-sulfonic acid or their salts, if appropriate
with the addition of alkali, alkali carbonate or bicarbonate and the so obtainable
Dissolve preparations in water. You can also first use a solution of 7-iodo-8-oxyquinoline-5-sulfonic acid
or their salts, optionally with the addition of alkali, alkali carbonate or bicarbonate,
produce and add the 8-oxyquinoline-5-sulfonic acid or subsequently to these solutions
add their salts as such or in the form of their solutions. Furthermore you can
for the production of the new preparations also proceed in such a way that both representation
of 7-iodo-8-oxyquinoline - 5-sulfonic acid from 8-oxyquinoline-5-sulfonic acid by iodination
the amount of iodine to be added is such that a desired proportion of 8-oxyquinoline-5-sulfonic acid is not
is iodized. The preparation obtainable in this way can be used directly for the production of solutions
increased thermal stability can be used. The ratio of the components in the
new preparations can vary within wide limits. The thermostability of the solutions
generally grows with an increasing concentration of 8-oxyquinoline-5-sulfonic acid.
Example i 68 parts by weight of 7-iodo-8-oxychinaline-5-sulfonic acid are mixed with 10 parts by weight
8-Oxyquinoline-5-sulfonic acid and 22 parts by weight of sodium carbonate are added. the end
a 5% aqueous solution is prepared for this preparation with gentle heating.
This does not excrete any iodine even after three hours of boiling, while the 50th
solution
of a preparation of 78 parts by weight of 7-iodine-8 = axyquinoline-5-sulfonic acid
and 22 parts by weight of sodium bicarbonate after 1½ minutes of sudden boiling
Dun-icel staining splits off iodine.
in beliebiger Reihenfolge in Lösung bringt.
Minuten langem Kochen freies Jod ab.Instead of sodium bicarbonate, it is also possible to use approximately equivalent amounts of free alkali or of alkali carbonates. The solutions of increased stability can also be achieved by solving the components one after the other in any order. EXAMPLE 2 22 parts by weight of sodium bicarbonate are added to a preparation obtained by iodising 8-oxyquinoline-5-sulfonic acid, which contains 75 parts by weight of 7-iodo-B-oxyquinoline-5-sulfonic acid and 3 parts by weight of the starting material. A 5 ° / o aqueous solution of this preparation is deposited until after about 1 5 minutes of cooking free iodine.
