Impact tool The invention relates to impact tools according to
Type of patent specification 270394 whose percussion piston by means of a piston air pump
Air column moving back and forth in a single tube is driven under
simultaneous promotion of an additional amount of compressed air, which by an automatically
opening air outlet valve emerges on the gun.
The processes composed of air vibrations and air conveyance
in this facility are now so difficult to control and the numerous
variables determining these processes - engine power, number of strokes, pump working volume,
Impact gun volumes and masses, hose length and hose diameter - are
so difficult to coordinate with each other that only a few types of them have succeeded
Build hammers. These work with around 3 HP engine power, around 600 and more strokes
per minute and with a hose about 2 m long and 22 mm in diameter. the
For operational reasons, the extension of the hose was very desirable despite several times
attempted variation of the sizes mentioned has not yet succeeded. According to the invention
is now the solution to the problem, consisting of a blow gun and pump, for one
high number of blows (600) and short hose length (2 m) constructed units can be used
to make for longer hose lengths, has been solved in that while maintaining
of impact gun, engine power and hose diameter with an approximate doubling
the hose length to at least q, up to 5 m the minute number of blows is halved,
thus reduced to at least q.5o beats per minute and the volume of work
the pump is increased in the same proportion as the volume of the hose.
Instead of a larger number of weaker strikes, you get fewer, but
stronger strokes, a fact that is particularly advantageous when riveting.
