Description

Verfahren zum Reinigen von Teerölen Saure Teeröle und daraus gewonnene Teersäuren, besonders solche des Steinkohlenurteers, Braunkohlen- und Torfteers, haben stets einen starken Geruch. Es sind schon eine Reihe von Verfahren angegeben worden, um diesem t`belstand zu begegnen, von denen aber keines die gestellte Aufgabe in völlig befriedigender Weise löst. Es wurde nun gefunden, daß es gelingt, den üblen Geruch derartiger Öle in weitgehendem Maße zum Verschwinden zu bringen, wenn man den betreffenden Teerprodukten ungefähr 2 % Kupferoxydul oder Kupferspäne sowie etwa i % Benzoylsuperoxvd und ungefähr 2 0,lo Eisessig beimengt und sodann destilliert. Das so erhaltene Destillat zeigt nur schwachen Geruch; auch das Nachdunkeln bziv. Rotwerden, insbesondere bei Phenolen, wird durch dieses Verfahren weitehend verhindert.
