der Stielhülse an Beilen derart, daß das Beil mit einem seitlich offenen Teil der
Stielhülse gepreßt und diese durch eine mit diesem Teile zu verbindende Deckplatte
vervollständigt wird. Dieses Verfahren wurde bisher in der Weise ausgeübt, daß das
mit der einen Hälfte der längsgeteilten Stielhülse versehene Beil und die andere
Längshälfte der Stielhülse miteinander verschweißt wurden. Die Schweißung ist nicht
von Vorteil, da die Gefahr des Zerspringens besteht. Gemäß der Erfindung werden

Umpressen von zu beiden Seiten der Mulde vorstehenden Leisten o des Beilwerkstückes
oder durch Vernieten mit diesem verbunden. Die Deckplatte b ist mit vorstehenden
Spitzen/ versehen, die beim Schließen der Stielhülse über dem Stiel in bekannter
