Description

Von einem Fahrzeugrad angetriebene Luftpumpe zum Füllen des Luftreifens Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine voneinem Fahrzeugrad angetriebene Luftpumpe: zum Füllen des Luftreifens, bei der die Preßluft in eine am Zylinderboden angeordnete Sammelkammer gefördert wird, um von hier aus dem Luftreifen zuzuströmen. Die bekannten Luftpumpen haben den Nachteil, daß das von der Preßluft mitgerissene, von dem Pumpenzylinder herrührende Schmiermittel in den Luftreifen eintritt und denselben beschädigt, so daß der Luftreifen nur eine verhältnismäßig kurze Lebensdauer hat. Nach der Erfindung wird dieser Nachteil beseitigt, indem die Preßluft vor dem Einritt in.die Luftreifen von dem Schmiermittel befreit wird. Erreicht wird dieses dadurch, daß dasjenige Rohr, welches die Preßluft in die Sammelkammer hineinleitet und in bekannter Weise mit einem Rückschlagventil versehen ist, möglichst nahe der Decke der Sammelkammer mündet, während umgekehrt der zum Luftreifen führende Rohrstutzen möglichst nahe dem Kammerboden mündet, so daß das etwa mit der Preßluft gleichzeitig mitgeförderte Schmiermittel nicht in das Zuführungsrohr zum Luftreifen gelangen kann, sondern gegen die Kammerdecke geschleudert wird und dort durch einen nahe der Kammerdecke angeordneten Kanal abgeleitet wird.Air pump driven by a vehicle wheel for inflating the pneumatic tire The invention relates to an air pump driven by a vehicle wheel: for Filling the pneumatic tire, in which the compressed air is arranged in a cylinder bottom Collection chamber is promoted to flow from here to the pneumatic tire.
