bzw. Feststellen des Wochentages nur schlecht möglich ist.Calendar, time and alarm clock in the lamp base The invention relates
a calendar, time and alarm clock. Such devices have the disadvantage
that, in the absence of a lighting device, a reading of the time in the dark
or determining the day of the week is difficult.
This drawback is now eliminated according to the invention in that
Time clock, calendar and lighting device to one device, expediently in
Form of a table lamp, are united and the switching on of the lighting device
as well as the blocking of the drive mechanism of the calendar from the clockwork of the time indicator
takes place, whereby the greatest simplicity in construction is achieved. The movement of the
The calendar drive mechanism or clock mechanism is blocked by the main drive shaft
the time display device with the interposition of and per se known translations.

f in 2q. Stunden eine Umdrehung macht. Letzteres hat eine Zahnlücke i
Zahnlücke i demselben gegenübersteht.
In the drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is illustrated, namely Fig. X shows a view of the same, Fig. A shows a longitudinal section through the same, Fig. 3 shows a plan view of the crown gear and a section through the armature, Fig. Q. a plan view of the shaft of the calendar drive mechanism connected between the spring mechanism and the display device, the gear wheel with a recess and a shaft bearing a cam wheel, Fig. 5 the push-button and toggle switch used to move the toggle switch from the outside. In the stand of a table lamp is a normal clock and its clockwork a, while the calendar with its drive device is in the base. The main drive shaft of the timer carries an eccentric b, which in turn is coupled to an armature c. This armature engages in a crown wheel k seated on the shaft carrying the display devices of the calendar and locks the drive mechanism of the calendar. The armature c moves back and forth once an hour and has the effect that the crown wheel 1a actuated by the spring mechanism d via gears e, f, g can rotate. The transmission ratio is chosen so that the gear f in 2q. Hour makes one turn. The latter has a tooth gap i ( see Fig. Q.) And transmits the movement to the gear wheel g until the tooth gap i is opposite it. Then the drive is transmitted to the wheel na , which is advanced until the tooth or cam l is disengaged again and now again, through the disk k carrying a tooth or cam Z, which sits above the wheel f on the same shaft the toothed part of the wheel f is in engagement with that of the wheel g. The disc ya, which is firmly connected to wheel in and o, makes the thirty-first part of a revolution, so that the next calendar day, attached to the ring P on the disc, appears at the front of the opening in the base of the lamp. The wheel o drives the weekday disk q at a gear ratio of 31: 7, so that the next weekday is also set. The ringp sits rotatably on the disk u, see above. that an adjustment can be made for the months with 30 days. This is done by hand through the opening y in the base of the lamp, in that the disk za is held in place beforehand by a locking spring. The spring t of the spring mechanism d can be tensioned by means of a small socket wrench that is inserted into the pivot pin s from below.
The lighting device is also switched on from
The spring mechanism of the time indicator or the clock is turned off with the thumb v and lever
w, whereby a toggle switch x is operated. Switching off is also done by
Manually, just as switching on can also be done manually, under mediation
of the pusher j. By turning the small eccentric z by 18o °, the automatic
Light switching can be disabled.
The calendar and time clock can also be carried out without a lighting device
in connection with floor or wall clocks.
