Description
Fabric tensioning and drying machine with zigzag guidance of the fabric across the longitudinal direction of the machine The current state of the textile industry demands from the stretching and drying machine an ever greater development of the work surface, d. H. the contact surface between the tension chains (with needles or clips) zigzag webs of fabric and the one that is blown in between two webs Warm air. This requirement resulted in machines with horizontal guidance of the fabric webs to ever greater longitudinal expansion of the fabric webs and the machine, adding one always a larger number of the structural sections known as fields have been put together. A disadvantage of these machines, however, is that the warm air with a large initial speed and must be blown in at a very high temperature when they are at the end of the lengths of fabric should still be halfway effective; a second disadvantage is that the strips of fabric with sometimes warmer, sometimes colder, sometimes more, sometimes less with moisture loaded parts of the air stream blown into the long alley met. That is why machines have already been built in which the air is in the whole The length of the horizontal lanes in the weft direction through the lanes, and also those machines in which the tracks run in a vertical direction. According to the invention, with the latter with tracks running in the vertical direction and machines consisting of one or more fields, one for the failure of the `` '' Better goods and absolutely indispensable for coat goods. Air ducting in parallel intended for the warp direction through which a systematic drying is carried out at the same time is achieved according to the countercurrent principle. The warm air is here in the after Lanes open at the top between two webs of fabric introduced from above, then on lower end of these lanes through side openings and then transition paths into the next upstairs alley where she strokes up and at the top of this alley is diverted to the side.
For each field of a machine composed of several fields a special air flow is provided, which relates to the entire drying process can be coordinated, and this at a moderate inlet temperature, which is harmless to the goods and with moderate air intake speed. Except for the small amount associated with it Energy expenditure is also a good thermal utilization of the air with given the invention because the air used in one phase of the overall process can optionally be used repeatedly for another phase.
Such a tensioning and drying machine is shown schematically in the drawing as a three-field machine with a subsequent cooling chamber in longitudinal section (Fig. I) and in plan with the cover removed (Fig. A). Figs. 3 and 4 are cross-sections along the lines xy and zw. A ', A =, A3 are the three fields separated from one another by partitions i and a. The tensioning chain 3 is only drawn as a dash-dotted line for illustrative reasons, as it does not converge with the goods w, and is guided within the machine alternately over upper and lower sprockets 4 and 5, the latter of which is offset against the first in plan are, s & that a zigzag line is formed from vertically running paths. At w 'the goods w come together with the tensioning chain 3, which it leaves at wg after it has formed the vertical zigzag turns zr2 in the three fields converging with the chain.
The goods lanes, which are open at the top, are now passed through from above the distributors 6 blow in the hot air streams matched to the three drying phases. In order to distribute the air evenly over the width of the goods, the distributors the partitions 6a shown in Fig. 3 must be installed. The purpose of uniform Distribution of the air over the length of the field can be seen in the plates shown in Fig. I 6U serve. In addition, angular guide surfaces 7 are above the chain wheels q. like that arranged that they the air the two paths forming an open lane with consideration of the direction of the weave of the fabric in different ways, in such a way that where the air flow goes with the direction of the stroke, the air to the The material web can approach unhindered, while with the webs, where the flow direction goes against the grain, the impact of air on the goods is avoided. In fig. 3 the line direction is indicated on the left by oblique hatching.
In the lower part of the lanes, which are open at the top, the air passes through the ever two openings 8 in the side walls of the machine interconnecting transition caps g into the neighboring alleys, which are open at the bottom, in order to go through in their upper part lateral openings 1o to escape or to reuse again to become.
In the machine shown, each manifold 6 is a pressure fan i i associated with the heating device 13 switched on in the pressure path 12 and close at the outlet openings io the collecting caps 14 (Fig. a), of which the Suction line 15 of the preceding fan ii in the sense of the passage of goods goes out. In the first field, with the collecting hood 14 through the suction line 16 only a suction fan 17 is connected. For the sake of clarity, the transition caps are in the plan 9 and the side openings io with the collecting caps 14 only each on one side indicated by dots on the machine, although it is because of the better air flow are arranged on both sides.
In and of itself, then, would be according to the description given so far the air with strict observance of the counter-current principle with repeated use the same amount of air, if necessary with reheating between two fields, the goods flow in the opposite direction, to finally be saturated with moisture by the fan 17 and consumed to be discharged.
You can of course also from the cap 14 a part of the moisture-laden Discharge air and for this purpose in the suction lines 15 through adjustable openings Introduce the appropriate amount of fresh air, of course with appropriate handling the heating devices to avoid excessive impregnation of the air with moisture to avoid. However, the air flow can also be different outside of the fabric lanes handled as described.
