Description
There are devices for feeding AC-DC single armature converters known in which the single armature converter consists of a synchronously rotating phase converter is fed with evenly distributed winding. More than six phase voltages are fed to the converter, whereby it is achieved that the utilization factor of the converter is increased and the
After The present invention can thereby substantially improve such an arrangement be that the secondary winding, d. i. the low voltage winding, the phase converter a part of the primary winding in the manner of an economy circuit, d. i. the higher voltage winding.
An exemplary embodiment for this is shown in the drawing. The rotor with the winding a, the shaft w and the main poles p of the converter u are shown here. The winding α is here provided with taps 1 ' to 12'. On the shaft of the converter, the phase converter t is arranged in a rotating manner, the secondary winding s of which is provided with taps 1 to 12 which are directly connected to the corresponding taps of the armature winding without any slip ring. The primary winding / »is connected to the secondary winding in an economy circuit, so that the secondary winding forms part of the primary winding. The primary winding has a three-phase design and is fed via slip rings g and brushes c. This results in a considerably more compact design of the circulating transformer phase converter, which also considerably reduces the length of the entire iron path and thus the required magnetizing current consumption. In addition, a complete concatenation of the individual phase voltages is also achieved, as a result of which the multiphase voltage curve shape is improved, which also has the effect of smoothing the DC voltage generated. At the same time, the advantage is achieved that when only three slip rings are used, there is no bond whatsoever with regard to the number of phases, which means that it can be selected as high as desired without difficulty. In addition, there is also considerable savings in winding copper and thus in copper losses.
