Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung von Registrierpapier Den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet eine Weiterentwicklung des Verfahrens- zur Herstellung von Registrierpapier, insbesondere Indikatorpapier, nach Patent 536 841, Gemäß der vorliegenden Erfindung kann man eine weitere Verbesserung dieses Verfahrens dadurch erzielen, claß nach dem Überziehen des gefärbten oder weißen Papiers mit der z. B. aus Fett, Parafhii, Wachs oder Gemischen solcher Stoffe, gegebenenfalls unter Zusatz von Harzen, fettsauren Metallverbindungen (um die Wachsschicht härter zu machen) o. dgl. bestehenden andersfarbigen Deckschicht diese mit leicht flüchtigen organischen Lösungsmitteln, denen kolloidale Bindemittel und Pigmente zugesetzt sein können, oberflächlich angeätzt wird. Durch die Anätzung erhält man infolge ausgeschiedener kleiner Teilchen eine starke Trübung der Deckschicht, welche die andersfarbige, Barunterliegende Fläche des Papiers vollkommen verdeckt, so daß die von dem Registrierstift eingeschriebenen oder gezeichneten Linien besonders klar und deutlich in die Erscheinung treten. Der Zusatz kolloidaler Bindemittel bezweckt dabei, die auf der Oberfläche der Deckschicht ausgeschiedenen feinen Teilchen fest mit der Deckschicht zu verbinden und ein Krümelig- und Mürbewerden derselben zu verhindern, Durch Zusatz von farbigen Pigmenten zur Ätzlösung, wie z. B. Dabei wird das Stearin zunächst aufgelöst; es scheidet sich aber sofort infolge der großen Verdunstungsgeschwindigkeit des Lösungsmittels in Form sehr feiner weißer Kriställchen wieder ab, und man erhält eine weiße, stark getrübte Schicht, welche die andersfarbige Papieroberfläche vollkommen verdeckt. Dabei kann man eine sehr schöne gleichmäßige und feste Deckschicht unterVermeidung pulverförmiger Abscheidung des Stearins erzielen, indem man der Ätzlösung z. B. etwas Kollodiumlösung zusetzt und, wenn noch stärkere Trübung erwünscht wird, evtl. noch Pigmente, wie Zinkweiß usw., hinzufügt. Eine besonders vorteilhafte Herstellungsweise ergibt sich daraus, daß man die Fette im geschmolzenen Zustande, also neiß aufträgt und schnell von der Rückseite des Papiers her kühlt.
