Switching of DC reversing contactors in AC systems is known
are the many disadvantages compared to contactors excited with alternating current
excited with direct current. The endeavor in technology is therefore in the direction
also in AC systems, if possible, to close contactors excited with direct current
use. But this endeavor then meets with difficulties when it comes to it
Reverse operations, d. H. to those where the
one direction of travel must be switched to the other. -These difficulties
consist mainly in short circuits as a result of stopped arcs. at
Three-phase current has these disadvantages due to the well-known arc lock in extraordinary
more reliable yet easier way to turn it off.
This blocking circuit consists in the fact that one terminal of the reversing contactors
is directly connected to the mains, while the other terminals are connected to two motor terminals,
so that the contactor circuit is via the stator winding and the third phase of the
Network closes. With direct current, however, this circuit cannot be used without further ado,
because the third phase connected directly to the mains, via which the start-up circuit
of the contactor is missing.
zieht daher an
und legt den Motor ans Netz. The invention now specifies a circuit which allows the use of the arc barrier even with reverse contactors excited by direct current. It consists in that a three-phase auxiliary relay is assigned to each reversing contactor, which is interlocked with the other by the arc lock. The arrangement is illustrated by a circuit example in the accompanying drawing. -In the drawing, RST is the three-phase network, which feeds the motor m via the reversing contactors v and y, which are excited with direct current from the network g. The auxiliary relays n and o, which are excited by three-phase current, are assigned to the reversing contactors. It is controlled by the control roller a. The circuits for the stator contactors v, y run from the direct current network g via the auxiliary contact -y 'or v' on the counter contactor to the coil of the reversing contactor, from there to the contact n 'or o' of the associated auxiliary relay m or ö and back to Direct current network. The contactors are controlled in that the auxiliary contact of the auxiliary relay, which is open in the idle state, is closed by its excitation. The auxiliary relays n and o are switched by the control drum. If, for example, the forward contactor v is to be switched, the control drum is moved to the left. This closes the following circuit for the auxiliary relay m: From phase R via finger R, the coating and finger m of the control drum a to the auxiliary relay coil n and then to the stator terminal S ', which is connected to phase S when the associated reversing contactor responds . Furthermore, the circuit runs, for example with a delta connection of the stator, through a stator phase of the motor to the mains phase T. The auxiliary relay n picks up and closes its contact n ', so that the circuit of the contactor excited by the direct current source via the contact n' and the closed Auxiliary contact on counter contactor y 'is closed. The contactor v therefore picks up and connects the motor to the mains.
If it is now to be reversed, the switch is moved over the zero position into the opposite position. The circuit for the relay, n is now interrupted, so that its contact n 'opens and the contactor v drops out. At the same time, the following circuit is closed for the auxiliary relay o: From the mains phase R via the corresponding fingers and the coating on the control switch a, the coil of the contactor o to the stator terminal R '. Would now. when switching off. If an arc of the contactor v were to stop at contact R ', for example, the coil of the auxiliary relay o would be short-circuited, as can be seen directly from the drawing. The auxiliary relay cannot pick up as long as the arc exists, so that its contact o 'remains open and the contactor y cannot pick up either. A short circuit at the reversing contactors v, y is therefore impossible.
