Description
Coke oven with vertical heating flues divided in height The invention relates to a coke oven with vertical sections divided in the vertical direction Heating flues, the lower part of which consists of two halves, each with one or the other fuel flows in excess below, while in the upper part the Excess fuel can be burned. It's such a coke oven known, in which two lower heating flues, which the fuels in unequal Quantities are supplied, feed half an upper heating flue together; here are all the lower heating flues of a heating wall at the transition points to the upper ones i @ eizzuges are connected to each other, as a result of which the upper heating flues are proportionate Inflowing fuel quantities not or only imperfectly controllable. One has here Although already planned, two lower heating flues each necessarily have an upper heating flue assign; in this case, however, each upper heating flue is twice the width a lower normal heating flue, and this is not only for the stability of the furnace walls, but also for the uniformity and controllability of the heating in the upper one Part of the furnace inconvenient. The coke oven according to the invention is characterized in contrast in that the halves of the lower Heizzugteils arranged by in the heating wall direction upright walls are formed, so that two parallel in the longitudinal direction of the battery Heating flues, one with one fuel and the other with the other Fuel is fed in excess, too, in the upper part of the heating wall unite a heating flue. In this case, each has two lower co-operating heating flues together and the upper heating flue connected to them the width of one Heating wall, and all lower and all upper trains have in the longitudinal direction of the heating wall normal length, there are also two lower trains with an upper heating train in compulsory connection. As a result, the wall is stable, what in particular for high ovens is of importance, for which the present design is primarily is also the amount of fuel flowing into the individual heating flues can be precisely regulated with regard to the individual trains, and this regulation is still favored by dividing all the lower heating flues, each half the width of the heating wall.
The uniformity of the heating can be in the present case then favor the fact that one and the other fuel the lower Heating flues is supplied crosswise evenly in excess. The compulsory allocation Two lower half-divided trains to an upper heating train also allow insert a constriction above the dividing tongue of the lower heating flues, which a vortex and consequently an intimate mixing and thus a perfect one Combustion of the two as yet unused fuels in the upper heating flues episode Has. This constriction also increases the stability of the Heating walls.
The drawing illustrates one designed according to the invention Coke oven in Fig. I in a longitudinal section through the battery and in Fig. 2 in one Longitudinal section through the heating wall in fragments and in Fig. 3 in the horizontal Section through the heating wall on a larger scale than an exemplary embodiment.
The vertical heaters are in their lower part through a transverse wall a divided lengthways, and they have a constriction at the height distance above this transverse wall b on. The openings for the supply of air and gas in the lower part of the heating flues are then dimensioned so that the one vertical half of each heating flue the one fuel and the other half the other fuel in excess; accordingly, as illustrated in particular in Fig. 3, in the one heating cable half dimension the opening l1 for the entry of air larger than the corresponding opening l2 in the other half, and the opening g2 in this latter half for the feed of strong gas is larger than the corresponding opening g1 in the other half, the opening s2 in that heating cable half for the supply of lean gas is also corresponding dimensioned larger than the opening s1 in the other half for the supply of lean gas to this Heizzugteil; in the adjacent heating flue, the size of the Fuel openings are distributed the other way around as in the previous heating flue, as shown in Figure 3 illustrated. The one in the lower half of the heating flue is not completely burned arriving fuel mixes above the partition a with that in the other other fuel not completely burned in the lower half of the heater; this mixing is promoted by the constriction b above the partition wall a, and the fuels that are burned in the upper part of the heating flues form there an additional heating to that of the lower part of the Heating flues rising from smoke.
With regenerative coke ovens, the heating flues in one wall can change flues be combined to form twin trains or group trains, as shown in Figure 2, for example shows.
