Description

Hot-dip tinned radiator for liquid heaters The radiators of liquid heaters, e.g. B. from bath stoves, if they are made of copper or the alloys of which are made, mostly manufactured in such a way that the individual parts made of sheet metal and pipes by immersion in a hot molten tin bath connected to one another in a thermally conductive manner «-earth. Radiators manufactured in this way are but not completely protected against the attack of the acidic heating gases. It it has now been shown that such protection is achieved in an unexpectedly perfect way can be if the hot-dip tinned radiator is still provided with a lead coating is, which is applied by a method known per se, the emergence excludes a lead-tin alloy, for example in galvanic bathing or after your metal spraying process, i.e. not also in the hot liquid bath. Except the actual radiator can of course also be used in the same way touched by the hot combustion gases and therefore also as a radiator active heater parts (e.g. the inside of the combustion shaft) be.
