Abblendkappe für Lampen, Scheinwerfer o. dgl. Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Abblendkappe für Lampen, Scheinwerfer o. dgl., insbesondere für solche von Kraftfahrzeugen, die aus lichtdämpfendem Farbglas besteht und vom Führersitz aus in seitlicher Richtung bewegt werden kann, wodurch in Abblendstellung die Lichtstrahlen nach der Seite abgelenkt werden. Das Neue liegt darin, daß die haubenartig ausgebildete Kappe um eine seitlich am Grunde der Glühbirne sitzende Achse schwenkbar angeordnet ist und über die Glühbirne so weit gedreht werden kann, daß sie mehr als die Hälfte derselben abdeckt. Hierbei blendet die Kappe nicht nur ab, sondern sie bildet auch einen Reflektor, welcher das angestrebte Ablenken der Strahlen nach dem Straßenrande befördert und gleichzeitig dem Fahrer noch eine genügende Voraussicht läßt.Anti-glare cap for lamps, headlights or the like.
