Zu diesem Zwecke ist an der Kette eine Verzahnung mit einer die Bewegung nach beiden Drehungsrichtungen hemmenden Sperrklinke angeordnet, bei deren Einklinkung zwei der Kettenglieder starr mit einander verbunden werden können, wodurch dann¹ die ganze Verbindung eine starre wird.
