Description

Die heute üblichen Wegweiser entsprechen bei dem immer mehr zunehmenden Verkehr nicht mehr den an sie gestellten Anforderungen. In einer Großstadt, wie z. B. Berlin, sind die an den Straßenecken angebrachten kleinen Schilder, die den Namen dieser Straße tragen, so unzulänglich, daß ein großer Teil der Schwierigkeiten in der Verkehrsregelung hierin seinen Grund findet. Will z. B. ein fremder Kraftwagenführer wissen, ob er an der richtigen Straßenkreuzung ist, ob die gesuchte Straße rechts, links oder vor ihm liegt, so muß er entweder anhalten und fragen oder eine Rundfahrt zu den kleinen Wegweisern machen.
