Beim Niederdrücken des Hebels α öffnet sich das Ventil b, wodurch die Membran c mit dem daran befestigten hohlen Kolben d entlastet und von dem Druckwasser in die Höhe gedrückt wird; dadurch treten die Löcher 1 bis 7 in die Einströmungskammer und tritt das zur Spülung nothwendige Wasser durch die Löcher 1 bis 7 in den hohlen Kolben d und wird durch letzteren in die Luftstrahldüse e geprefst. Von dieser wird dann Luft durch den Stutzen g angesaugt und mit in das an der ClosetschUssel angeordnete Bleirohr eingeführt. Giebt man den Hebel α frei, so schliefst sich das Ventil b, weil das Druckwasser durch den kleinen Kanal h über den Kolben C tritt und denselben langsam nach unten auf die freiliegende Dichtungsplatte drückt, wodurch die Schliefsung ohne Rückschlag erfolgt. Sollte während der Spülung plötzlich die Hauptleitung entleert werden und das in der Hauptleitung zurückfallende Wasser Luft einsaugen, so fällt das im Bleirohr befindliche Wasser in den sich am Eintritt in die ClosetschUssel bildenden Wassersack, schliefst somit die ClosetschUssel von der Hauptleitung hermetisch ab und saugt letztere anstatt Stinkgase die durch den Luftstutzen g eingeführte Luft ein.When the lever α is depressed, the valve b opens, as a result of which the diaphragm c with the hollow piston d attached is relieved and is pushed upwards by the pressurized water; as a result, the holes 1 to 7 enter the inflow chamber and the water required for rinsing passes through the holes 1 to 7 into the hollow piston d and is forced through the latter into the air jet nozzle e.
