Description

KAISERLICHESIMPERIAL

PATENTAMT.PATENT OFFICE.

When the lever α is depressed, the valve b opens, as a result of which the diaphragm c with the hollow piston d attached is relieved and is pushed upwards by the pressurized water; as a result, the holes 1 to 7 enter the inflow chamber and the water required for rinsing passes through the holes 1 to 7 into the hollow piston d and is forced through the latter into the air jet nozzle e. From this air is then sucked in through the nozzle g and introduced into the lead pipe arranged on the Closet bowl. If the lever α is released, the valve b closes because the pressurized water passes through the small channel h over the piston C and presses it slowly down onto the exposed sealing plate, whereby the closure takes place without kickback. Should the main line suddenly be emptied during the flushing process and the water falling back in the main line should suck in air, the water in the lead pipe falls into the water sack that forms at the entrance to the closet bowl, thus hermetically closing the closet bowl from the main line and sucks the latter instead Stink gases the air introduced through the air port g.

Claims (1)

Flushing device for drains with a flushing valve that opens and closes automatically by moving the relief valve b (Fig. 2), the tube piston d of which extends through the opening g into the tube e for the purpose of sucking in air, in connection with the water inlet in the flushing tube (Fig. 1 ) to avoid the entry of waste gases into the water pipe when the latter is emptied.
