Description

Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein mit einer Löschvorrichtung verbundener Aschenbecher nach Patent 508281. Das Hauptpatent betrifft einen Aschenbecher mit einer Vorrichtung zum Löschen brennender Zigarren oder Zigaretten mittels einer Löschflüssigkeit, bei dem ein Raum veränderlichen Volumens zur Aufnahme der Löschflüssigkeit vorgesehen ist, der Durchtrittsöffnungen für diese Flüssigkeit aufweist und bei Verkleinerung seines Volumens Löschflüssigkeit nach außen in den Aschenbecher abgibt, bei darauffolgender Vergrößerung seines Volumens jedoch wieder zurücksaugt. Der Raum zur Aufnahme der Löschflüssigkeit ist bei dieser Vorrichtung wenn nicht ganz, so doch teilweise mit einem eine Flüssigkeit aufsaugenden Stoff, z. B. Natur- oder Gummischwamm, gefüllt, und dieser ist bestrebt, selbsttätig das Volumen anzunehmen, bei dem die Löschflüssigkeit vollkommen zurückgesaugt ist. Die Elastizität dieses Stoffes bewirkt, daß nach vorhergehender Verkleinerung des Volumens des den Stoff aufnehmenden Raumes eine Wiederherstellung seines Anfangsvolumens selbsttätig fast ganz wieder erreicht wird.The invention relates to an ashtray connected to an extinguishing device according to patent 508281.
