Bei Eiersortiermaschinen ist es erwünscht, daß auf jedem Ei das Gewicht bzw. die Gewichtsgrappe ersichtlich ist. Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Vorrichtung zum Aufdrücken der Gewichtszeichen auf Eier, wobei die Vorrichtung beispielsweise als Anschluß an eine Eiersortiermaschine mit Drehtisch gedacht ist. Sie ist aber auch nach entsprechender Änderung bei Eiersortiermaschinen verwendbar, bei welchen die Eier nicht von einem Drehtisch, sondern von einem geradelaufenden Gurt, einer Kette o. dgl. befördert werden.
