Das Wasser fliefst durch das Rohr α in den Doppelmantel b, von hier durch das Rohr c in das Schlangenrohr d, sodann in die Doppelhaube e und schliefslich durch das Rohr f an den Ort seiner Verwendung. Die Feuerung geschieht von dem Rost g aus; die Heizgase passiren dann zunächst den Trichter h, gehen dann im Innenraum der Haube e abwärts, streichen an den Wandungen des Schlangenrohres d und des Doppelmantels b aufwärts und entweichen endlich durch das Rohr i ins Freie.The water flows through the pipe α into the double jacket b, from here through the pipe c into the coiled pipe d, then into the double hood e and finally through the pipe f to the place of its use. Patent claim:

A water heating furnace in which two double jackets b and e , provided with inflow α and outflow f , are built into one another and connected by pipes c and d in such a way that the heating gases conducted through funnels h into the cavity enclosed by e enter the furnace in one of the flow of the Cross out the water in the opposite direction and the heat radiation can only take place through the water.
