Description
Vorrichtung zum Einschlagen der Ränder von eckigen Gefäßen aus Papier, Karton o. dgl. Gefäße aus Papier, Karton o. dgl., wie Becher, die zur Aufnahme von Flüssigkeiten dienen, haben gewöhnlich die Form eines Kegelstumpfes. Die Ränder dieser Becher werden meistens nach innen (Aufsetzrand) und außen (Öffnungsrand) umgerollt, zuweilen werden sie auch nach innen eingeschlagen. Bei eckigen Gefäßen, beispielsweise solchen, die als Pyramidenstumpf geformt sind, ist das Umrollen der Ränder, sofern diese an den Ecken nicht ausgeschnitten sind, unmöglich, da die Spannung des Materials zu groß würde, so daß der Rand an den Ecken einreißen würde; daher kann der Rand dieser Becher nur durch Inneneinschlagen abgestumpft werden. Erfindungsgemäß erfolgt diese Arbeit maschinell in einem Arbeitsgange durch nachstehend beschriebenes Werkzeug, das an j eder Drehtisch- oder Ziehpresse angebracht werden kann. Das Fortschrittliche des Erfindungsgegenstandes besteht im wesentlichen darin, daß das Werkzeugunterteil in Ruhestellung verharrt und die Einschlagarbeit lediglich durch einen Abwärtshub des Pressenstößels von dem daran befindlichen Werkzeugoberteil verrichtet wird, ohne daß das zu bearbeitende Werkstück durch Vorbiegen des Randes o. dgl. für diese Arbeit vorbereitet wird. Dadurch, daß beim Erfindungsgegenstand gegenüber den Vorrichtungen, die zum Abstumpfen der Ränder runder Gefäße dienen, welche diese Arbeiten meistens in Drehbewegung verrichten, alle Antriebsmechanismen hierfür in Wegfall kommen, wird eine erhebliche Leistungssteigerung erzielt.Device for wrapping the edges of square vessels made of paper, Cardboard or the like. Durch Fortsetzung der Abwärtsbewegung wird der Bolzen des Werkstückes durch die Preßplatte g, die an der Schubstange io befestigt ist, eingeklemmt. Bei dieser Bewegung drücken die Winkelklappen 7 den Becherrand in die spitzwinklige Lage 8, und der Preßstempel 12, der sich ebenfalls in Richtung B bewegt, drückt die Lamellen 5 nach außen und trifft auf die Winkelklappen 7 auf, so daß dadurch der Federdruck der Feder 13 überwunden wird und die Winkelklappen 7 um ihren Drehpunkt nach der Mittelachse des Werkzeugoberteiles geschwenkt werden. Die abgeschrägten Kanten 17 des Preßstempels 12 schlagen den Gefäßrand 15 nunmehr vollständig nach innen ein, und durch Betätigung der Feder 14 wird das Werkstück eine Zeit unter Druck gehalten, so daß der Rand in seiner eingeschlagenen Lage verharrt.
